God created our hearts to be like a dashboard filled with dials—finely tuned

controls to help process our full range of emotions in a healthy way. Yet, at

times our hearts operate as if controlled by a single on-off switch that leads us

to shut down when we fear our feelings will overrun our lives. This class will

focus on how Scripture can help us better navigate our emotions. You will come

to understand the definitions, characteristics and causes of your emotions, as

well as the solutions that lead to emotional growth.

Eyes Wide Open International

Rescue from Crisis; Relive Suffering; Rebuild Lives; Restore Hope. EWOI seeks to work to unite the body of Christ in serving and meeting the needs of the poor. Our strategy is to identify the people that God has called to help the poor and they answered that call with resounding yes but have little to no support from other people, churches, or organizations. EWOI desires to join them in that work and to undergird them with prayer, encouragement, training, and various kinds of resources so that together we may build relationships that will better serve the poor. In doing so, EWOI doesnot desire to re-invent the wheel but partner with local and international organizations to better serve the needs of these individuals as they serve the needs of widows and orphans in their area.
